TRUTH 1 – God Loves You

Everyone is looking for love – yet God, who created you, loves you exactly as you are right now. The Bible says, Whatever your situation, right now, God loves you.

We know this is true from His Word to us, the Bible.
“…God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8 NKJ)

Read the verse again, out loud, like this: “God demonstrates His own love toward me, in that while I was a sinner, Christ died for me.”

Your life may seem hopeless, or you may feel very fulfilled. You may be lonely, or be surrounded by friends. You may have an abusive or a loving family.  You may be living in poverty and desperation, or you may be financially secure.

If God loves you, then what is it that keeps you from knowing God?

TRUTH 2 – We All Fall Short

Though God created us to have a relationship with Him, we fall short of His standard, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23 NKJ)  The Bible tells us that the result of sin is death (Romans 6:23).

Why? God sees our hearts, and no matter how hard we try, we are all selfish, living according to our own desires. In the light of a holy God, we all miss the mark. But far worse is separation from the only One who sees us exactly how we are, and still loves us! Try as we may to reach God through our own efforts, we will fail. We can’t ever be good enough. This is called sin – and it is what separates us from God.

So where’s the good news?

TRUTH 3 – God Has a Plan for Your Life

God created you to have a relationship with Him, and His heart breaks for everyone that is separated from Him.  So, He designed a plan to bring you back to himself – His only Son, Jesus.

Instead of trying harder to reach God, or do what’s right, we simply need to accept Jesus as the only way to God. This is why:

When Jesus hung on the cross, all of your sin was put on Him – at that moment, He became sin for us, and God turned His back, as Jesus cried out, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”  (Matthew 27:45 NKJ). All your sin was paid for. Once and for all. For you. In that moment, all the sins of the world, for all time, fell on Jesus, and as He died, the sacrifice was made.

God’s plan was perfect. Jesus not only died for your sins, but rose from the dead – and promises you eternal life. “Christ died for our sins…was buried, and …rose again the third day…” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4 NKJ) Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6 NKJ)

Is knowing the truth enough? Is believing enough?

TRUTH 4 – God’s Gift to You

God’s gift of salvation is His Son, Jesus. The Bible says, “But to all who believed in Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become children of God.” (John 1:12 NIV)

If we are honest, we all have to admit that there is something missing in our lives, something that is not right. We’d like to make our lives better, but nothing that we do seems to work out like we’d planned. Deep down, there is a cry for more.

Many say they believe in Jesus, and that He is the Son of God. But when you accept Him, you believe, and then you invite Him to take control of your life and make it new.

Here’s what the Bible promises… “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9-10 NKJ)

Jesus says, “…I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in…” (Revelation 3:20 NKJ)

God wants to come into your life, to forgive you and give you a life filled with joy and peace. That is what is missing.

So How are You Going to Respond?

Make The Choice

We all have a choice – to live our life in our own control, striving to make things come out right, or to give control of our life to the One who created us, who loves us, who wants more than anything to have a relationship with us!

You can make the choice today and begin a new life in fellowship with God. Right now, wherever you are, you can pray a simple prayer to your Father in heaven and experience the Greatest Miracle of All:

“Father, thank you that you love me and have a plan for my life. I believe that Jesus sacrificed His life so that I could be right before You. I’m tired of trusting in myself and living my life in my own way. I know that I have missed the mark and sinned against Your ways. I have done wrong against You and others. Jesus, I want you to come into my life. I accept your sacrifice for my sins and believe that you are the only way that I can be right before God. Take control of my life. Take away my guilt and make me pure in your sight. Be my Lord and my Savior. Make me the person you created me to be!”

When you accept what Jesus did for you, all your sins are forgiven and you are promised eternal life with God! Most of all, you are in right relationship with God – the Greatest Miracle of All!

If you prayed the prayer above, you are now a child of God! We would love to hear from you so that you can share what God has done in your life and pray a special prayer for you.
